Parker was born in Cleveland, Mississippi and attended the University of Mississippi. After graduating, he spent one year on staff with Cru and interning at Grace Bible Church. In 2019, he married his wife, Ali, and they moved to Jackson, where Parker worked in banking for two years. In 2021, Parker began seminary full-time at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, where he earned his M.Div. in 2024. His wife, Ali, is from Indianola, Mississippi and they have two children, Daniel and Hayes. Parker also serves on the Rooted Steering Committee.
