The Bible Conference is an annual conference hosted by Grace Bible Church that serves to edify the members of Grace, as well as the broader Christian community in our area, through in-depth study and application of a portion of Scripture. Each year we invite one scholar to lead our sessions together over the course of a weekend. 

This year, on August 1-3, we are excited to have Tom Schreiner, Professor of New Testament Interpretation and Biblical Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and elder at Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville, KY, leading us through the book of Galatians. In a time marked by confusion and change, the pathway to salvation for the Galatians seemed unclear. While the false teachers contended for circumcision and obedience to the law as necessary for justification before God, Paul presented the truth of the gospel and redrew the lines of salvation around the cross of Jesus Christ. These are the truths and themes we'll explore during our time together. 

We will meet for one session on Friday night, two on Saturday morning, and the conference will conclude with a final session during the Core Seminar hour on Sunday morning. Your registration will include a copy of Dr. Schreiner's book, Christ Crucified: A Theology of Galatians, with the option for dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday. We'll have several other book giveaways during the weekend as well. 

We will have childcare available for children from newborns to 11 years old. However, there is a limit, so it is first come, first served. If you register after the limit is reached, there will be an option to place your children on a waitlist. The deadline to sign up is July 27, 2025, so register as soon as you can.

Is this only for members of Grace Bible Church?

While we certainly have members of our church primarily in mind for this conference, this event is open to the public. 

Is there a deadline to register?

So that we can plan for both books, meals, and volunteers, we ask that attendees register by Sunday, July 27, 2025. After this, registration will become limited.

Is Grace Bible Church ADA-accessible?

Yes, our church's renovation in 2023 included ADA accessibility.

What are the options for parking?

Grace Bible Church has three lots next to its main building and office space (at 1720 and 1722 University Ave).
